I have sort of the same problem .. Im from Southamerica but my husband is canadian so my kids have a strong english last name. I have chose english names for my kids, eventho we lieve in S.A .. yet some  issue i face often is mispronunciation and misspelling.. so Ive tried to come up with names that are english, yet very easy to translate or pronunce in spanish.

Im currently looking for boys name for my third child and form my list I can suggest Gabriel and Samuel.  They are both english/Spanish and are beautiful and traditional in both cultures...

good luck!

Thank you! Yes I do know 3 Sophies under 2 years old!! but I dont live in Northamerica right now, so I dont want to concern myself wiht that .. however, my whole family is canadian, so eventually when my kids grow up and decide to move back home they might find their names more popular there than they did here growing up ... But really, do I want to take that into consideration now???

I do too.  My husband prefers Emma tho .. He also wants the middle name to be Mary like his late grandmother, but Im not sure how Emily Mary or even Emma Mary sound like ... Is having 3 names too much?? lol

Hi, thanks for the input .. Deep inside I think i prefer Emily better... Last name is Bornh0ft of a german background : strong and long, so that why I prefer short sweet sounding names.
