@Valerie: The only Effie I have ever known was short for something like Eftyhia (not sure of the spelling, but I'm fairly sure it would be Greek). @Anna: I automatically think Davina.
@Esmerelda: Yes, I do use the date/time to keep track of where I am now. But I often read this blog during lunch at work and then again at home later, or a couple of days apart. I just think a number would be much easier. Many non-threaded comments sections on other sites have them.
