I apologize for the double post, I didn't realize I was logged out and couldn't figure out why the post wasn't showing up.  

I know two - one has always gone by Catherine and the other (Katherine) eventually went to the nickname Kat in college.  Neither went by any nicknames earlier in life and I always thought it was a beautiful name.
