I know a little boy named Summitt.
In the spirit of trying to avoid politics, I'm going to throw out Cubs/Cubbie, Grandpa Rossy or Wrigley. I'm not a baseball fan but the historic win coupled with extensive news coverage and an article I read about the predicted baby boom in Chicago 40 weeks after the World Series win makes me think it should at least be in the conversation.
Meh...not impressed. Considering last years NOTY was a celebrity baby name, I guess I should be thankful she didn't pick North!! I still think there were a lot more relevent/universal/interesting NOTY choices.
My husband's name is Christopher but goes by Kip most of the time.
Of Barabara Walter's most fascinating people this year, 4 were nominated for NOTY.
Honey Boo Boo, E. L. James (the author of 50 Shades of Grey), Gabbie Douglas and Gov Christie in reference to his actions after hurricane Sandy.
My vote is for Grey. 50 Shades of Grey was everywhere this year and I think there is going to be a whole wave of 'Grey' babies in the near future.
