A couple of years ago, my husband's friend emailed to let him know she was expecting her second child. Some of the names her three-year-old son suggested were:

Stingray Shark

Piano Dumptruck

Monkey George

Dora.

There was at least one more very "normal" name in there, like Sammy or something. We immediately adopted "Monkey George" as an additional nn for my cat.

In the end, the second child was named Theo. No word on how big brother Tobias felt about this.
