Incorporating Anna:

Joanna

Johanna (Jo-Hah-Nah/Jo-Ha-Nah)

I like Magdalena A LOT.  :)  I don't think it is clunky.

Beretta Breeze would sound better as far as feel of syllables.  Beretta has the appropriate "a" ending for a girl so I have no issue with it for a girl, better thean smith or wesson.  I am glad that no one will be using Beretta when they call her, Breeze is MUCH more pleasant for a call name than Beretta.  Beretta makes me think of Bertha and Burt and some other old names that are not necessarily flattering.

Choosing Breeze for a first name is okay, NMS.

In Response to Titanic

Nope!  I do not like choosing names other people will be using with regularity.  I like classics that are uncommon.  However, Leo is a family name and Rose goes SOOOOO well with anything as a middle that I would use them if I loved them regardless of the movie and popularity.  :)  Also, Leo is Classic without being common.  I don't know any (besides my FIL who has passed on), definitely do not know any little Leos.  Leo makes a cute nickname but what to use for formal first name???  Leopold?

I agree that Layah will get called Laylah all the time.  I am not put off by either of the combos, I think they work fine.  As long as you are prepared for the Layah-Laylah thing, either would work if you love them.  However, I love Wren with Darah.  I think it is a WINNER.  :)

In Response to Avel

Avel rhyming with navel?  I like it, it is a good choice that is different enough to stand out from common "earth" names but not too weird.  I would keep it.  I first thought Ay-vel or Uh-vell?  That was the only thing that stood out.

How do we play this version?  Are we supposed to choose First and middle combos or just faves from the list?

In Response to Name for Baby #3!

I LIKE your boy's names.  :)  They are classic but not common.  Very well done.  I think Anna Elizabeth is the simplest name of the bunch but it is not bad and flows nicely with the boys.  No weird connections jump out at me over your choices.  Way to go!

Although I LOVE, love, love Esme as mentioned above, I think it might be too matchy-matchy with Henry.  What about Lucinda, Lucille, Florence, Flora, Doris, Velma, Veronica, Vivienne,  and I have to admit that I LOVE Alice with Henry.   Have fun choosing, it is one of the BEST parts of being a mom.  :)

P.S.  I almost suggested Etta but Henry and Etta?  No way!  Cheers
