Beautiful choices! My favorites are Juliette Maeve (love this middle name!), Juliette Iris, and Juliette Rose. These are the ones that flow the best IMO. Good luck!

Your nephew has a great name ;) Thank you for your thoughts on the girls names! DH feels the same about Eliza and I keep going back and forth - I love them all!

I like Theodore Thomas the best! I think it has great nn potential and has the same feel as Josephine. My next two favorites are Alexander and Luke - these are fairly common in my area but it's understandable because they're great names.

Thank you! I am still going back and forth between all three so I love getting all of the non-biased opinions!

Thank you! I hadn't considered that connection with Violet before and it's definitely something to consider.

Thank you for your input! I love Amelia and Stella but we have family that has chosen those names. Caroline and Evelyn were on our original longer list so you've definitely pinpointed my name style!

Congratulations! I love your boys names and from the list you provided I think Tessa fits the best with your boys and I think it's my favorite from your list. My second favorite is Celeste. I stumble a bit saying Emma Morris so that would probably be my last choice.

Other options that would work with your sibset are: Lydia, Stella, Alice, Eliza, Naomi, Nora, Eleanor, Caroline, Clara, Hazel, Violet (or Viola), Isobel (or Isabelle depending on your spelling preference), or Isabella.

That's a good thought about Leo and Eliza - it is a little tongue twisting. That might not be a deal breaker (especially for DH - Eliza is his favorite) but I'm glad you pointed it out. I literally can't pick a favorite between the three because my preference seems to change by the hour so I'm looking for all insight! Thanks!

Thank you! Names that we've thought of for the middle spot are Quinn, Maeve, Juliet, and Claire and all of these are purely because we like the names. There's no family significance or other reason behind them - just more names I love! We've really liked Eliza Quinn and Alice Quinn but beyond that we haven't tried to pair anything together. I'm definitely open to suggestions and thoughts!

Congratulations! Can you give us any insight into your naming style? For example, names you like even if they don't work well with your last name? Here are some suggestions of some names I like that would work with Bellmore:

Henry, Owen, Leo, Jack, Jackson, Lucas, Noah, Alexander, Nathan, Nathaniel, Emmett, Everett, William, Noah, Mason, Malcolm, Ethan, Maddox, Theo, Elijah.

Willow and Estelle are my favorites but I also like Harlow and Monroe. Estelle seems the most classic but I like the nature connection of Willow so I think it depends on I've known a few little girls with Willow or Monroe as a middle names, which are cute! Haven is not my personal taste and it's my least favorite from your list.

In Response to Naming twin girls

This is a great list! I love Clara for one of the girls and my favorites to pair with that would be either Violet or Hazel. Martha and Delilah are not my personal taste so I would be inclined to use Marion, Matilda, or Beatrice as middle names.

I love the name Violet though I agree that Rose or Olive would be too close with the color connection for my taste. I think Hazel could work and is also a nice name. I'm not a big fan of Georgia but the nickname suggestion of Gigi is really cute! The first thing I thought with Vivian Leigh was Gone with the Wind so I would be careful of that connection unless you really really love that actress! I love the suggestion of Lydia. May I also suggest Eliza, Alice, Clara, Evelyn, and Nora. Congratulations!

I would pronounce Evie as "ee-vee" regardless of the full name and Evie Green is super cute! Personally, I prefer Evelyn over Evangeline with Green. Both are lovely names though. FWIW I don't think many people will have a hard time making the leap from Evelyn to Evie with your preferred pronounciation. Try not to worry and just pick the full name that you like the best!

In Response to The Short(er) List

Oops! I just saw your new narrowed down list! I'm so happy you're going with your gut feeling - so important. Even though I'm sure you'll wait until January to decide for sure my favorite of your girls is Freya and for boys is Emrys. You can't go wrong though! Keep us posted!

Congratulations!

For a boys name I personally like Edmund more and I also think it fits with your other boys (and your style in general) better.

For girls: Eliza and Alice are our top 2 girls names so I think they are worth some convincing :) That being said, here are some options that may fit both of your styles (I'm sorry if some of these have already been mentioned!): Matilda, Lorelei, Elouise, Ruby, Lydia, Violet, Cordelia, or Beatrice/Beatrix.

Good luck!

In Response to Name Nerd paralysis?

Oh! I should have also included Rory, Ronan, Arthur, and Declan (3 of which my husband has vetoed for future use but I love) since we seem to have similar styles. I am the same way with the nicknames I love but not the longer versions - we occasionally get asked if Leo is short for something but even that doesn't happen often.  I love Max and Sam and also had Eli on my list.

Zara is my favorite on your list! I love all 4 of the vetoed choices - that's a bummer! Here are some of my favorite British-sounding girls names:

Alice, Eliza, Amelia, Eva, Cressida, Juliet, Imogen, Lydia, Isla, Matilda
