I now have two month old twin girls so thought maybe I could help with naming with multiple babies? This forum was SO brilliant when I was naming mine and I like really want to help one of y’all the way you helped me!!! I think the names Kelsey Jensen and Lily go really nicely togeather. But also maybe Camila or Xavier, which are names quite popular in California! And maybe about the show you could like use Theodore instead of Ted, for a subtler hint towards it? Hope this helps!

In Response to Twin Girls Names!!!

Hi y’all! So just though I’d catch you up, the twins are now four days old after I had them via scheduled c-section on the 24th! It was a quick and easy and they are the most beautiful girls in the world! Like, honestly they have been doing really well, Ben took them well (I said they had given him a tricycle and you car to soften the lack of attention!) and the doctors have been like so incredible! My family loves them and Im doing good. Anywho, the names are Isabelle Carris and Abigail Greta (after my brilliant best friend) all your advice has been absolutely INCREDIBLE and I could not have reached the descion I have without y’all. I love the names so much but would not have thought to use Carris or Greta as names to honour people without you. So thank you so much!!!!! I’ll keep you updated and help with others naming problems once I’m fully up and running! Paris next!

Thank you for this advice. At this point I think I’m pretty much settled on Isabelle Carris and Abigail Noelle (I know it’s changed, but i really like the name Noelle?) I just got a bit worried because I have no idea what the trends are over there. But these have really helped quench any fears or Doubs I had. I’m probably going to be off here for the next few days because I’m scheduled to have them in a week. But I’ll definatky keep you updated on their names and the upcoming move. You have been really brilliant and helpful and great and hope you like the current top name choices.

Firstly as a fellow Maisie I am glad you like the name. (Again is it sounds weird SUPER pregnant!) Secondly I Love Milla and Meredith. I also quite like Anneli, but it’s not my favourite. I think it comes down to wether or not you like the name to as if you will change the tradition. If you love Clementine for example but feel inclined to use Meredith, always use the name you love. If you would like other M suggestions, here they are...

Madeline

Mackenna

Milly

You can say that again! At this point it is actually incredible! My brother is Sybastian and my half sister is Ebenie! I think it’s more to the fact that no one really checked/realised they were spelt any differentry! And now most names are traditional. It is fun though (especially with Ebenie) to see people’s reactions when you tell them the actual name. When it came to naming Ben and I suppose Milly? We wanted to be just slightly more restrained.

My this may be a bit to cutesy for you. But my brothers wife loved flower names and they named thier two girls Cammomile (Whom we all call Milly) and Honeysuckle (whom we call Honey). When my nieces were born, I too was a bit wary that they would be a bit to different and sickly sweet. But the shortened versions make them more common but are still unique.

Or maybe you could just go for Flora? It is clearly a floral name and I didn’t see it on your list. I love the suggestions of Zinnia and Xanthe as well.

I was thinking maybe Esme? It can be traced back to a meaning of Emerald which is sort of natural? It is not in the top 50. Incredibly feminine and I can no one comes to mind in pop culture. Also maybe Sylvie instead of Sylvia.

If I can think of any more I will add them in. Also CINGRATULATIONS you must be so happy!

In Response to Twins due in April

Agree as well. I really like Mary on its own. Maybe you could go for something like Jade. Or I love the sound of  Mary and Adele?

I also love Alice, Elizabeth, Rose, Claire and Sarah.

On another note. As someone who has been given my birth operation date (11 days!)  also for twin girls, I would be intrested to see what you chose as I am still struggling!

I LOVE the name Alison. How did you come around choosing it, family name, meaning? It could help with your middle name. Out of the options you’ve give Lia is my favourite because the L sound helps the full name to flow.

I like the sound of Alison Maria if you want to go down th Mari route?

So, as they are due in just over a month ive settled on my final three, just asking for your suggestions!

My favourite is...

Abigail Pheobe & Isabelle Carris

Clara Louise & Sylvie Jacquline

Noelle Rose & Adeline Pheobe

My current favourites are Abigail & Isabelle And Noelle & Adeline. I will not be changing the middle names because I love them and don’t want them to move, but I may be open to the first name pairings sawping. Thanks!

Also, if it sounds weird I am VERY pregnant have been off work for two months and am coping with a sick toddler, my house is half in France and I haven’t seen an adult in two weeks. So PLEASE forgive me.

First Congrats! It must be so exciting! I have a few name ideas below

Sylvia (super victorian, slightly diminutive but very rare where I’m from) Virginia, Alexandra, I like Lyra but think Mabel is OK but just sounds a bit odd. Maybe Edwina for the Edward connection?

I like Claire but DO NOT think it sounds nice with Paige. I don’t know why I just think it sounds a bit synthetic. I like Eva and LOVE Lila. Do they sound nice togeather.

In Response to Twin Girls Names!!!

Aww, thank you! I hadn’t actually thought of it in a French speaking environment, I’ll do some research within the French communities I know of. Lorelainis just a name I like. No particular connection to anything. My grandma raised me from birth to 12. I wouldnt want to name them after my mom and I don’t know how my pop is. So the only other namesakes I can think of are below. (A couple are men if you know the female counterparts please tell me!!!)

Jacqueline (Jackie)-My teacher in high school that helped and inspired me to apply to law school

Adam-My Granpop, he died when I was seven but was just a really nice man

Karoline-My aunt. She is just brilliant and funny and great

Carris-My great-great Grandma. I never met her but she was an entopenur and the namesake for MY middle name!

I LOVE Camille. And I love the sound of Madeline and Camille togeather. I also think that Paige and And Gwen sounds really nice togeather, but I think that I still prefer Paige and Rebecca. I don’t know why I just think that those names not only speak to me but just sound really lovely. My only issue with Madeline and Camille is that it may sound a bit too french? Thank you so much for names! They are so beautiful!

(Also don’t worry about the adoption thing, I’m just glad you support being a single ma!)
