Liam becoming so popular is probably the main reason we wouldn't choose it :0 It's hard to decide whether or not that should be a deal breaker.

We would have considered Declan and Colin, but he will have first cousins with those names. We like Cormac, but though Cormac Mc--- is too many MC sounds :)

Thank you so much! I love this forum.

Ok the non veto list is out...great points. And the middle name, I forgot to add, will be Patrick--another family name so I don't have to worry about choosing one from the list.

In Response to Shannon

I love love love it for a girl today, not too sure about boy. If I were having another girl, it would be on my list!

Thanks so much for the help! I am on this site all the time and have never posted :) I really apreciate it. We already have a little Declan and Sean in the family this generation, so althought I love those names, we can't use them.

I esp like Liam (too popular/trendy right now?), Luke, and we just thought of Kellan...any feedback? But others you all suggested are going on the list too :)

If it were a girl, we liked Quinn, Fiona, Nora, and Clare.

Any more ideas keep 'em coming!

Sorry! It's an Irish name that starts with a Mc. The Middle name we will choose from a list of family names after we choose the first name. Thank you!

Thanks so much!

All are great names. And we don't need an Irish or Celtic spelling...I think we'd rather have something people could at least have a chance at pronouncing correct. (Surprising to me, Maeve is mispronounced a lot!)
