In Response to Boy name issue . . .

If I loved the name, I would use it. You don’t need to ask her permission to name your own child. Almost everyone has at least one name they dislike because it was the name of their ex/their old boss/their class bully, etc. It is not terrible of you to use a name that you like. Naming is a personal choice, and it can get too complicated if you feel like you have to please everybody. If your sister-in-law asks about it, you can say that you’ve always loved the name. However, if you truly feel uncomfortable using the name, then picking another one is not a bad idea.

Veronica and Natalie are both good names, but I personally prefer Natalie. Natalie sounds better with Emma; Victoria Emma sounds a bit repetitive.

I like Veronica Lan, Victoria Lan, and Olivia Lan. The rest don’t flow right in my opinion.

In Response to Baby girl #3

I would definitely go with another another C name; I wouldn’t want the youngest girl to feel left out. Chloe is a cute name, but where I live, the name is a bit overused.

Here are some other (less common) C name ideas:

Catherine

Celeste

Christina

Claire

I would not name her Elsa; almost everyone would think of the Disney character. (Imagine naming your daughter Ariel or Merida.)

1. I agree that having a middle name that spells a word probably isn’t a good idea. Also, Elizabeth is quite overused as a middle name.

2. Juniper Hazel is cool. It could definitely work.

3. Juniper Kate is okay, but I don’t think the names really go together.

Other ideas:

Hazel

Ivy

Lily

Jasmine

Rosemary

Rowan

Willow

In Response to Second baby!

For a boy, I like Oliver, Nicholas, Maxwell, and Julian. I’m not sure what to think of the others, except I definitely wouldn’t use Lowen. Owen, on the other hand, is a nice name and is actually one of my favorites.

For a girl, I like Thea. Thalia is okay but not my favorite. I would not use Alice as a middle name for either because the “A” sound gets a little repetitive.

I like the name Holden. Hendrix is cool, but it might be seen as odd/different depending on where you leave. I’ve never heard of the name Hendric before, and I wouldn’t use it.

Rosie is my favorite of the two. Nancy is a cute name, but it’s a little old-fashioned in my opinion.

First of all, I would probably not go with Regina—the first image that came to mind was Regina George from the movie Mean Girls.

From the girls’ list, I like Lila. From the boys’ list, I like Nicholas and Cole.

Here are some middle name suggestions:

Lila Jean

Lila May

Nicholas Jude

Nicholas Levi

Nicholas Wyatt

Cole Patrick

Cole Thomas

Meredith Rose is definitely better. Meredith Primrose is a bit too long in my opinion. Rose is a common name, but if you like it, use it.

Here are some other (less common) suggestions:

Meredith Olivia

Meredith Lily

Meredith Nicole

Meredith Paige

Meredith Ruby

Meredith Violet

edit: I know most of these are not floral, but I still thought they were worth mentioning
