Not that you need another, but I also know a Katherine that goes by Katherine. I am a Stephanie and I do fine that some people automatically shorten it to Steph but by and large most people use Stephanie, which is what I introduce myself as.
Hi fellow Nora's mom! I am a huge Norah Jones fan and most of my friends thought DD was named for her (she wasn't, lol) and now I can't get enough of Adele so how funny would it be if I used that name.

Yes, everyone has giving me great suggestions and opinions. I love to hear them, it gives us lots to think about for the next couple months. Part of my issue is that I have a hard time using names of people I know or names they've recently used for their kids. Not so much that I'm stealing the name but I just associate the name with them. Margo, Camille (Millie) Claire being examples.
It does look like Alice is a favorite here that we will seriously be considering.
