About Me: I live in the Midwest. My husband and I raised a large family consisting of 2 children born to us and 7 adopted internationally from Korea and Vietnam. Our SILs/DILs are from the US, Australia, Mexico, Ecuador, and Korea; some of our 17 grandchildren are being raised bilingually. We are presently raising our 7-year-old twin grandsons. I've been fascinated by personal names -- baby names, name history, sociology of naming, etc. -- since I was in college and enjoy researching specific names.
