I think its related to Sofie or Sophia/Sofia. When I think of the name alone, I think of someone as Self-assured, Obedient and Fashionable. Now, I've never heard this name before.

I like all the names; however, I really like Eleanor and Ella. As of Ella, it is true Ella in Spanish is "She", but if you like the name, have you considered Ela or similar spelling of the name? Try adding a letter to it like Ellah, maybe? the same goes to Eleanor, if your concern is the spelling (pronounciation).

Note: each person has an opinion, not all opinions will match yours, so just follow your husband heart and yours. In other words, what seems to you a nice names others might like it, others won't. (Just follow your heart).

Hope this helped!

Thank you for the response, Nedibes. My name is sometimes pronounced as Seid < Se + yyd. Do you have whatsapp? or like an instagram, where can talk about this? or like a place we can chat. I do like some of these names, yet what about other names? more suggestions?

Hello Nedibes,

This by far has been the best response ever. After all the thinking and considerations, I've decided to leave my name "Said", just because people like it and in this case I won't reject my grandpa. In other words, in Arabic people can call me that name. So to answer your questions, and to make this short as possible.

1) I want to use both names like as "Said- Lee Ackley", so I need another name that sounds good and reflects my multicultural origin. For instance, like an italian/Spanish better yet a name that goes in all languages and looks international. (Just because I have my first name Arabic so in this case I want something international).

2) I want to be called with my new name, so in this case my second name; however, I want it to show the entire name; for instance, "Said- Lee Ackley" not "Said L. Ackley". For instance, now its showing my full name, I don't see why not? right.

3) Name description, I was thinking of a name that its not with "S", so in this case, any other name. That sounds and looks good. As of when it shows complete and when I say it. For example, in Venezuela the majority of my friends has 2 names and they present them selfes or be called as both names together. For instance, Jaime Andres Collazo, he is called back in school "Jaime Andres"  and still today both together, or like "Rania Maria". Could I use it like that here? Saying *both* names together or its not usuall? What do you recommend? Suggestions? People who know with the name Said, how could I tell them? or do they still call me Said, however, new people I meet is I introduce myself as "New name*. Suggestions on that, please!

I do have a list of names that I like (they are Italian/Spanish ones).

Some of them are:

Italian:

- Giovanni

- Franco

- This one is with "S" which I like, > Silvio.

Spanish:

- Ivan

- Nicolas

I'm sure I love more than those but I could only think of those for now. Yet I want something similar to those. What I do like about them is that, they look and sound cool with my name; it shows the multi-cultural origin, which I really like. Also, a name that is the same in all languages: Portuguese, English, Arabic, Spanish and French. An example of that, would be David, Samuel, Giovanni., etc. (you know what I mean). Now when I think of my features, would I fit the appropriate name? I have a dark black hair, thick eyesbrows, and hazel eyes. People tell me I look, (Middle eastern/Brazilian, Slightly Italian look) so as of that for example, Steven is like mainly white so it won't fit me, all Steven's/Stephen I've seen are white, blonde hair., etc. (If you know what I mean).

2) The names I don't like are like Arabic/Turkish name because I have one already, or names that sound religious or monotonous wether in any language.

I explained this as good as I can to make things clear. Thank you again for all that, I appreciate each and everyone of you! Looking forward to hear from you guys! Suggestions appreciated.

Thank you for the response. If you don't mind me asking, which country do you live? I know i've gotten suggestions, but I need more suggestions in which I'd really appreciate. For instance, a middle name that sounds and looks great with my full-name. :)

Thank you for the advice. I think Sebastian is the best bet. What do you think? As its greek, latin, etc. It goes well in english, spanish, portu, french and arabic. Do I however move my actual name to the middle or no? This being said Sebastian Ackle or Sebastian S. Ackle?

In Response to Better name? Help.

In my case, by moving Said to the middle would be as a second name. Right? So like my western name would remain there and also my arabic name. So like people in the middle east would call me Said, and people in the west or hispanic will call me Santiago etc., Therefore, both names will remain there.

Thank you so much!!

Thank you for the response, PlusOne. As always your so helpful, and this is getting to an end. This for me is so confusing as everyday I keep changing; however, what do you think about Santiago Said Ackli. I'm seeing Santiago is close to Said as of Sa -- ntiago - Sa - id. Although how would I deal with the name change? what will people at work call me? Due to the fact I'm multiracial, maybe Arab friends can still call me Said and western/hispanic people call me Santiago. As of in general people will call me Santiago. Although everyday is getting harder and harder for me to come up wth a decision.

How could you deal with this situation if you were me? How can I tell people at work? Or tips in general about all this.

Thank you so much in advance. You are super helpful and I appreciate all this!!

Hello there,

Not necessarly not all Omars are muslim, you can't recall if in the USA or Europe they are muslims or none because you can find both. This being said, the name doesn't define religion. I have a friend he's hispanic and he's not muslim. His name is Omar.

Have a great day! :)

Oh, haha thanks for the link!

Trust me, I'm completely puzzled. :( What name do you think goes the best: X Ackley or X Hosn. Just put a name in the X which fits more my origins. Or what name is the best? Opinion?

Hello Elizabeth,

Thank you for the information. This really helped alot. Although can you explain that phrase again: I have Venezuelan family members and have to say that you got off easy in the unusual names department. Some of my cousins' friends have names that are extremely obscure, to put it mildly. Maybe elaborate more?

Trust me, I'm completely puzzled. :( What name do you think goes the best: X Ackley or X Hosn. Just put a name in the X which fits more my origins.

Thank you so much for the response. This has helped alot. Although Sergio was a nickname, yet I'm still open to other name suggestions though. This being said, I'm open to other name suggestions. Also, I want it to fit with last name. As in Arabic, we tend to have long last names (which are so long) so either im picking one: For example, X Ackley or X Hosn. or/ Do I put it as Sergio 'Said' Ackley or Sergio Said Hosn as it includes my grandpa name or Its better 2 words. What do you think? Help?!

Now, I'm trying to see which one fits better. As of now, you know my lastname, so I'm trying to fix the puzzle.

In addition to that, I like these names so far, Adrian, Stefan, Sergio, Savio and David; however, I'm open to other names and other suggestions, as long as it goes good with my last-name? More options, maybe??

I really appreciate your honesty, thanks again!
