In Response to Aleia Marie was born!

Yes, surnames are same because she is my sister-in-law, we are married to 2 brothers, but I didn't know that it is so important for you. I really don't want to tell you where we live, because I think that is the next thing you would like to know. But you will google it for sure. I presented myself as a regular mom/user here, and wanted to share my opinion with all of you on her post since I have account before she made it and a lot of mom helped me pick a name for my girl in February. We didn't want to expose ourselves and we wanted to be neutral. And I really don't understand what is your problem here? You even checked our mail addresses? Wow. Since you know bunch od things about us now, did you read my post where I was about to name MY girl Aleia, we were 100% sure that we will name her Aleia, I even said that pronounciation would be Ah-LAY-ah. Instead of Aleia we named her Audrey. Hailey was the one who actually suggested this name to me, because as she said she heard it in Hawaii and she liked it. She didn't know she was pregnant at the time I gave birth (February) and she absolutely said "yes" to Aleia for my girl. We decided for Audrey instead. I honestly don't want to continue this conversation, you said a lot about yourself. Congratulations!

In Response to Aleia Marie was born!

You must be a huge fan or OBSESSED with that family since you know everything about them. I can't believe that you are trying to say that this mother of 2 girls "STOLE" name from some youtube couple who named their daughter Alaïa. First of all the correct pronunciation of name is Al-EYE-ah of you can figure that out. Second, I had name Aleia on my list but decided for Audrey, and I remember one post on this site also include mother who had Aleia on her list. I also noticed your words "You call her princess like them". Are you serious? I think every mom and dad in this world wants to become parents to a princess and a handsome boy. And she has the right to call her the way she wants to. So, please don't try to make name Aleia is so unique that only "that family" can name their daughter and they didn't even name her Aleia but Alaïa, which is very very unique and DIFFERENT. I seriously can't believe what you are saying on this site, who are they? Are they the Queen and the King? Presidents of a country? We give our children names that WE like, not names that a youtube people like. All I can say is "Oh my God, is this real?"

Congratulations on your baby girl! You picked a unique yet adorable name for her! I like Aleia, I pronounce it the way you said it is pronounced, I've never met any Aleia, but I've heard a lot of variations of this name. I think Aleia Marie is so adorable and fits well with Elle Vivian. Congrats again!

In Response to Taylen Lively?

Hailey congratulations on your baby girl Aleia Marie!  Her name is absolutely adorable, so unique yet familiar when we talk about her middle name. I personaly think Aleia is a beautiful name and I would not have questions about how to pronounce it, I pronounce it like princess Leia with an A in the front. Marie is a very cute name and it fits her first name! Congratulations again!

In Response to Taylen Lively?

Una is a beautiful name and i think it matches better with Elle. I like Taylen a lot but Elle and Una is just an amazing match. Are you still sure for middle name Lively? If so, I definitely think that Una Lively has beautiful meaning and those names together are just adorable!

In Response to Taylen Lively?

I would also read Taylen as Tay + len (not leen).

From your new list I like Taylen, Grace, Rona and Nya.

In Response to Taylen Lively?

Hi and congratulations on your girl! Your name choice is so unique and sweet, I feel like I love it. Actually Taylen was on my name list for my last child (we named her Audrey) but I still love this name, I think it is so special and sweet.

Elle Vivian and Taylen Lively, I think these names match especially because Vivian and Lively, to me, have some connection

Congratulations again!

In Response to Rosalie update.......

Hello! Congratulations on your girl!

Eleanor and Rosalie. I would go with Rosalie definatly because I love this name, and nickname Rosie is just so sweet and adorable. It fits perfect for a little girl!

I don’t like Eleanor tbh, I don’t know why, I prefer Leonore or Leonora.

I would like to hear an update, and congratulations again!

In Response to Four “M”?

Okay, I was just asking what do you think because SHE wants to know; maybe she will find another suitable name and hear others opinion. Our friendship will not be damaged if I ask what is your opinion, this forum is for it, or at least I thought it was. Many of girls are don’t even pregnant and they ask for name suggestions for the future baby, and that is totaly fine.

In Response to Four “M”?

Hi EVie! Yes, she aksed me. I told her that a month ago many of you helped me choose a name for my baby girl, so she was wondering what do you think now. We are actually very good friends, we know each other since middle school, we have kids who are almost same age too, so we give advice to each other most of the time. :) Ofcourse she will name her kids whatever she wants, just like we all do.

Thanks for your name list, she actually loves Mirabelle, Marielle, Mallory, Melora and Meridel!

You have a point about Mackayla and Mackenzie being close too, but Mackenzie usualy goes by Kenzie and Mackayla by Mackayla. They would probably go with another M name for another child. Thank you for your opinion :)

Thank you Elizabeth! :)

Thank you so much! :)

February 3, 2018 11:00 AM

Thank you! Pronounciation of Aleia would be like Princess Leia (leh-ya) with an A in front, (pronounciation of A like in a word stAr). We are still considering, but I think Audrey will win :)

Thanks for your opinion:)

Thank you Karyn! I am realizing that, and I think our finals are Hannah and Audrey. I love Aleia, but you are all right! It is too similar to Elena.. but I'm fine, I mean it's not something I can't get over.. I really just want to find the perfect name :) thanks again!

Thank you for your thoughts! I love Ann as a middle name for Audrey but I don't like having two "A". Audrey Meg sounds nice, Audrey Elle-love it! Audrey Lane, I love Lane, but I think it doesn't fits Audrey, and Audrey Faye is sweet too! Thank you!
