In Response to Wesley- for a GIRL!

I love Wesley for a girl and have it on my short list! I have heard of several girls named Wesley, Weslie, Wesleigh and they are all beautiful, adorable  girls who LOVE their names! In additon, maybe you've heard of "tWitch" Boss on the Ellen show... His daughter's name is Weslie. I don't get all the ridiculous and negative comments people have posted about Wesley for a girl. the -ley automatically makes it a more feminine name in my book. And completely doable for a girl. I think it's a beautiful girl's name and you should absolutely go for it! Especially being that it's her dad's name as well! Love, love, love it!!!!

Yep! Same name, but spelled differently! That's what I'm going for! my name begins with "C". In third grade I saw found out another girl had the same name but it began with "k".... I wrote my name with a K all year long wishing that my mom had thought of changing a boring name to something a little more interesting simply by changing the first letter... Therefore I love unique spellllings... Within reason...

I do not consider Emersyn to be a boy name at all. While Wesleigh has been a boys name in the past, it's a very feminie  boy name imo. I do not like it for a boy at all. And I have actually heard of many girls with this name. The "-ley" ending sound makes it a more feminine sounding name right off the bat. Changing the  spelling of a name  makes a name unique, stand out and yes sometimes more feminine/masculine. If we all stayed with the  traditional form of things, the world would be a very boring place.

With that said, you did choose my top picks.. Harper and Lane
