My husband and I wanted to name our son a strong name with a leadership quality to it so we liked the name Alexander after Alexander the great and I loved the movie Gladiator and wanted to incorporate the two names because it would make him sound powerful and as manly as humanly possible..do why not hyphen the two so we can have both names and make him sound like i said powerful and manly...i think it has worked...he likes to lead and not follow..this makes us very happy..you can't go wrong if you want a strong Male name with the name Alexander-maximus...
