According to Wikipedia, Chase Blackburn (born 1983), football linebacker for the Carolina Panthers is the earliest "celebrity" with the first name of "Chase", and I have always been curious if I was the first person in the US named "Chase", (I was born in June of 1974). My parents said they came up with the name based on a codeword in some cheesy 'spy' movie or tv show. Now the name seems much more common.
