- Comments and insights on the name Chester
Someone recently told me that the popularity of pet names are a good predictor of the next hot baby names. My dog is named Chester and so are several of my friend's dogs, so this may be the name to track in the next few years, lol.
Though I would say the correlation between children's and pet names exists I can't picture this name becoming popular again. I'm saying this as a person who named their cat Chester. I'd say it is because of how country the name sounds I'm just saying.
