- Personal experiences with the name Ciro
I named my son "Ciro" since I want to think of him as the sun of our family universe. It is a simple name, easy to pronounce, and unique. When we went for his 1-month check-up, the doctor was not sure how to pronounce his name. We helped her out, but she repeatedly said "Zero" as if making fun of his name. As soon as she got up, her head banged right into the cabinet above her seat! Well, I guess someone up there (not me!) was trying to tell her in a less gentle way to be nicer to my son :)
