Personal experiences with the name Coleton

My son is named Coleton. I thought I made it up on my own by putting together the "Colts" and "Peyton" (Manning). Then after his birth, I found out there is a name already out there thats is spelled "Colton". I wouldn't trade his name or spelling for the world. I think it is more creative and unusual than Colton which sounds a little negative to me since it begins with the word "Colt".

We like longer names with nicknames and wanted to call our son Cole so we named him Coleton with the added "e" so the name Cole was in the name. The lady at the insurance office argued with my husband when we first added him to our insurance saying we had misspelled his name but that is how we wanted to spell it!
