- Personal experiences with the name Eugene
Eugene was my first love. He was the most creative and fun-loving person I have ever known. He died at only 20 years old. Today, I turn around whenever I hear the name Eugene on the street or tv.
Eugene is my husband's uncle's name, and we have considered using it for a son. Uncle Eugene is the best story teller I know, and has been a mentor to many young people in his community. He's in his 60's and usually goes by Gene.
The only thing I think of when I see this name is Mandy Moore yelling it.
