My son is Evan Pine. I think that it is a strong name and it is just as common as it is uncommon. I think it's becoming more popular though.
I knew an Evan when I was younger. Didn't really like him but now that I think about it, I really like the name Evan which is a shame.
My lovely nephew is called Evan and I absolutely love his name. It really annoys me that some people just can't get it and continue to call him 'Ewan' despite correction!
