My cousin who lives in New Zealand is named Kirk and his brother is named Luke. We joke that their parents are secretly sci-fi enthusiasts (Kirk from Star Trek and Luke from Star Wars) but in reality it was a coincidence. He is quiet and very observant but has a wicked sense of humor and huge huge heart. I love him to pieces! I think it is a great name but the association with the world of sci-fi may turn others away from choosing it for their own child.
