I did some research and found out this is a boys name. It's more of a masculine name.
- Personal experiences with the name Reese
My son's middle name is Rees (without the trailing "e") which is the spelling used by his Welsh great grandfather.
I had this name picked out since Julia Sugarbaker dated Reese Watson on Designing Women. When we named our son Reese, everyone knew it was a boys name. Only a few years later did Reese Witherspoon create popularity to making it a girls name too. Either way, I would have named my baby Reese whether a boy or a girl. It has proven to be a very strong, no so strange, unique name.
