- Comments and insights on the name Aspen
Having the name Aspen is something on which I highly pride myself, though, of course, I had nothing to do with it. I believe it is a strong name, but still keeps its femininity. Cons? I can't think of any at all besides the fact that I can never find anything with my name on it except in Colorado.
I love having such a unique name, and to this day, I have yet to meet someone with the same one. :)
- Personal experiences with the name Aspen
DH found the name when we were trying to pick out a name for our daughter. He mentioned it to me and I quickly fell in love with it. We wanted a unique name but one that wasn't way out there or anything. My name is Kimberly and I hated being one of 3 Kimberly's in my class every year growing up(the name was popular when I was born). So, the name Aspen stuck and our beautiful little girl is named Aspen Noelle. It suits her perfectly, we had held onto another girls name just in case when she was born we felt the name didn't suit her but to us she looks like an Aspen!
I had never heard this name until I met my step-daughter three years ago. However, my son now has an Aspen in his class. It's a very pretty name but a little caution: kids can be mean. (I.e. Ass-Pins)
