I named my female boxer BAYLEIGH. It is a dog name along with Bailey. My name is a dog's name too (SADIE). I hate my name by the way. Please call the vet's office before naming your child this name...there are millions of dogs with this name.
Bayleigh is not a dog name. Spot, bear, rover, fido, etc. Are dog names. Don't be confused by all the dogs named Jack, bella, daisy,Charlie,Bailey. That doesn't make it a dog name, its a trend of naming your dog a human name.
- Personal experiences with the name Bayleigh
My husband and I always liked the name Bailey. He is a huge fan of the Chesapeake Bay and is a saltwater fisherman. He came up with the spelling on his own because he liked how it had "Bay" in it and I thought it was sweet. I looked it up online and saw that other people have spelled it this way also. I think it is a more feminine way of spelling Bailey. It does look as much like a last name.
My younger daughter born in 2010 is named Bayleigh. She is named after the Chesapeake bay, my favorite place (I'm from Maryland) and my father (Lee).
I met a boy named Bayleigh. His middle name was Samuel. Please don't do that ro your son, the name is already used too much for girls. Bailey is a much more masculine spelling. But on a girl, I have never met a Bailey who was nice. So inreally don't like it.
