Pronounced "Seh-leese", it's a name I randomly thought up with a friend.
That's very interesting, because I just found out that my mother also thought of it and was going to name me that. I think she was going to spell it with an "i," though -- Celise. She said her goal was to select a name that would be cute as a little girl and strong as a woman, so I guess Celyse must fit those criteria.
