- Personal experiences with the name Dani
I'm a Dani (duh) and my name is short for Danimah (dah-MEE-nah). I prefer Dani because I live in England and everyone said Danimah and demeanor because of the English accent.
I know a couple of Dani's - both short for Danielle - but they are both pronounced DAY-nee, unlike BNW's pronunciation. I prefer this as it has the cute nn Day.
^DAY-nee? Sounds terrible no offense.
