It is a Greek name---I believe ancient Greek and it means feminine perfection the symbol for female is a bee and was used to symbolize this name a lot. This would be my findings in the 80's. I had a friend in the 3rd grade named Devri and her sister name was Damna(sp?).They were greek. I not only named my first cabbage patch doll Devri Bri Ann but also my now 17 year old daughter.
