It reminds me of the word Dork (Dork a$$). I think Dorcas is an awful name, one of the worst names out there! But if you want to name your daughter after that Biblical character, you could always name her Tabitha, which is a variation of Dorcas.
Awful name, just AWFUL! I guess it was ok before he word DORK came out.

Well im 16 years old and im Puerto Rican and my name is Dorcas believe or not..
my mother is Christian so she decided to name me that
its a biblical name, its hard for me sometimes because in school alot of teachers dont know your name and it may sound funny. but im glad that my mom named me that because it makes me unique out of everyone. Im the only girl in my whole entire school that has that name.. Yea it sort of weird but that makes me stand out.
