I have a 21 year old named Isabelle. I loved the name from the minute I found it (it was unique, but not weird),at the time I named her everyone said, what an unusual name, you don't hear that much anymore! It's been climbing the charts ever since. I still love the name and wouldn't name her any differently. She says when she hears it called out in public she always sees little girls responding to the call!!!
I have a 2 year old daughter named Isabelle Rose. I have always loved the name Isabelle but loathed the name "Isabella". All the Isabelle's I have met I have liked but all the Isabella's I have met were mean and awful people. For sure Isabelle or Isabella if naming a child.
I know a family with a one yr old daughter Bella, her siblings are Owen (5) and Kelsey (3).
My parents were going to name me Isabella. Then they thought it sounded too Italian, and we aren't Italian, so they changed it to Isabelle. I like Isabella better anyways, and I think that's not a very good reason to switch your kid's name. Plenty of names come from other cultures.
My name is Isabelle and my middle name is Finley - I often get the nicknames Issy and Bell
