- Comments and insights on the name Jackleen
My Mother and Father loved Jacqueline or Jack after America's First Family of the early 1960's. My parents (Ruth and Ken) were both European's (England & Norway). They planned to move to USA in 1967 and they did! I was born in Germany in 1961... but all the 'old people' wanted to pronounce the old fashioned name Jacqueline into "Jackleen" and my parents found it charming Oin a German sort of way...) so I became Jackleen upon birth.
