- Personal experiences with the name Jaisa
My third child is named Jaisa Brienne and she was born in 2008. She was one of 9 babies that year to be called Jaisa. I had never heard the name before we named her and assumed we had made it up. Some time after she was born, I looked up Jaisa on the internet and discovered not only was it a real name, but also it meant "God makes" in Hebrew. Having believed I would not have any more children coupled with the meaning of her name, gave me the feeling that God was making a statement- "God makes" all things possible.

We named our daughter Jaisa (pronounced Jay-sa) after a friend of mine. We wanted our daughter to have a name that was unique and not so common. The name Jaisa (my friend's name) actually derived from both her parents names, Jamie and Louisa. Jaisa is a published author of the book, "Purpose In Paralysis",a Holistic Occupational Therapist Healing post spinal cord injury. She is also an Ambassador for the Canadian Adaptive Climbing Association, and the creator of The Mindful Soul channel on the Aura Health mindfulness app. When l first met Jaisa, there was an instant energy about her that told me she was here to make a great impact. I am so proud to have named my daughter after this very inspirational, and phenomenal human being and that my daughter can be proud of who we named her after.
