In my life time as a Jolene I have come across people that do not have a good command of the English language. I have been called Jolee Joline Joleen Josie Jo-len and the list goes on. I am grateful to be a Jolene I have only ever seen 3 other people named that, one I went to school with a few grades ahead of me, one in England and one on a game show back in the 90's. It's a great name if you are looking for something different. Heck it's not even on the top 1000 list :)

I love my name Jolene but people have trouble pronouncing it especially in Australia, they call me Joel-ene and I really don't like it.
