- Comments and insights on the name Juliette
I'm called Juliette and I get the very intelligent comment "where's Romeo" quite frequently. I really dislike my name, so think twice before naming your kid it :) .
My sister's name is Juliette and she has always loved it. She too gets ask about Romeo, but it's more like "Can I be your Romeo?" and she thinks thats sweet. She loves when her name comes up in a romantic song or quote. She says she loves her name because its different and has a beautiful and romantic air about it.
My name is Juliette and I ALWAYS get the comment “hey Juliette, where’s your Romeo?” It’s not funny. But I love my name and get heaps of compliments on it. I love that it’s unique and the different spelling adds a lot of grace to the name.
- Personal experiences with the name Juliette
Once when I was in Germany with my friend we were separated. When he spotted me again, he yelled down a busy German street "JU!". It didn't go down well.
I know two Juliettes. One is a very good violinist who is tall and has blond/light brown hair. She's also British. She was born in 2001 or 2000. The other one is very pretty with long dark hair and dark eyes. She was born in 2001 or 2002.
I named my 3 year old Juliette after my very best friend. My friend, Julianna, and I have been friends since the age of 1 and we lived next door to each other up until high school. Ever since 2 grade she went by "Jules" and when I found out I was pregnant with my 3rd girl we knew we wanted to honor her. We did not want them to have the same name because she now lives a few streets away and we hang out multiple times a week. So we went with Juliette and we call her Jules just like my best friend.
