Borrowed from the Irish, Corey is a name of more than one derivation. - Personal experiences with the name Korie
When I was younger, I didn't like having this name at all. Now that I'm older, I've grown to appreciate how unique it is and the lasting impression it has. Not once have I ever been asked, "Hey, what's your name again?". I also believe that the way it's spelled (especially the "ie") makes it look feminine and actually very cute. The only downside to having this name is constanty having to correct people for misspelling it.
