- Personal experiences with the name Lise
I love my name. In school, there were dozens of girls named Lisa, but I was the only Lise. There were some draw backs. It rhymes with please, trees, and assorted other things. Substitute teachers occasionally called me things like lice or lies, and I still have to spell it at least twice for everyone. But I wouldn't trade it for anything. To this day, I have yet to meet another Lise. I have heard about them. I think there was even one in the same entering freshmen class in college, but we never met. Can you say the same about your name?
