I adore this name! It is so cute, beautiful, and uncommon especially, this spelling! I love the way it rolls off the tongue. It looks so beautiful written or typed! I love everything about this name!! It may not need it but, a sweet shortening wouldn't harm it, I found "Mae/May" in the pronunciation and I adore it! It kind of makes the name itself seem less of a nickname to something else by giving it its own. This name, exactly this spelling is atop my list of future uses!!
This is not my favourite spelling of Maisie, but I like that the 'ey' on the end makes it seem more like a name in itself rather than a nickname.
