Millican Dalton was an English adventurer. Known for his advocacy of an 'alternative lifestyle', he was an adventurer, vegetarian and pacifist long before it became fashionable. There is a cave named after him in the Lake District of England where he lived for nearly fifty years. To this day, Dalton's legacy can be seen in the upper chamber of the cave, where he carved his own epitaph into the wall above where he slept. It reads: "Don't Waste Worrds, Jump to Conclusions".
