My daughter's name is Mylee. I did NOT get it from Miley Cyrus. My Mylee got her name from the movie "Blue Hawaii" staring Elvis Presley.She was his characters girlfriend in the movie. My Mom wanted to name me that but did not for some reason. When she told me the story I chose to name my daughter this. She loves her name.

The character in Blue Hawaii was named Maile, not Mylee. The Mylee spelling reminds me of Mylanta antacid.

I got mine off blue Hawaii too, and liked the spelling Mylee better. Mylanta, has no e's?!!! Spelt Maile to me looks like some foreign way of spelling mail.

I named my daughter after my husband, Michael Lee, and I spelled it this way so anyone reading it would know how to pronounce it. And I had never even heard of Miley Cirus when I had her.
