I am a Priscila myself, and I recommend to name your child this name. I am currently a 14 year old girl that is attending college right now in North Carolina. I don't know anybody else with my name so it is truly unique. I don't have a nickname but I wouldn't mind having one like sissy, prisca, or prissy, it's really not that bad. Priscila is used more in Mexico, but it would be nice to have it spread across the world. I don't know why some people wouldn't like this name because when people think of me, they think of a beautiful, smart, intelligent girl, with a great positive attitude that treats everyone with respect.
