Stellabella Name Meaning & Origin
Origin of the name Stella:
A borrowing from the Latin, Stella is derived directly from stella (star). There is evidence that the name was used in England as far back as 1374, but it wasn't until the 16th century when Sir Philip Sidney used the name in his sonnets "Astrophel to Stella," that the name became commonly known. Stella is also used as a short form of Estelle.

Many people may like the name Isabella or Bella but do not want to use it because it is being overused thanks to the popularity of Twilight. Many people try to find more unique ways to use the name Bella, without Isabella such as Annabella or Sarabella (beautiful princess)or just plain Bella; but those names are begining to get more popular as well, so this could be a nice and more unique alternative. As an other alterantive for this name you can try for a first name: Stella-Isabella; Stella-Sarabella; or Stella-Annabella. Or use Stella as a first name and Bella (or Isabella/Sarahbella/Annabella) as a middle name. You can also flip the name around: Bella-Stella, Isabella-Stella, Sarabella-Stella, or Annabella-Stella.
