- Comments and insights on the name Tamsin
I've just discovered this name, and I've fallen in love with it! I'm from America, and the name Tamsin is very rare here—virtually unheard of. I don't know any Tamsins personally, but I first came across the name when I read about British actress Tamsin Greig. It's a lovely name in my opinion. I don't want kids, but if I did have a daughter, there's a good chance I'd name her Tamsin.
- Personal experiences with the name Tamsin
My name is Tamsin. I live in England, where it is slightly more common than in America, but still generally quite rare. I'm approaching 30 and have only ever met 2 other Tamsins in my life. I love my name because it is so unusual. The only downside is that many people misspell it (with a 'z' instead of an 's') or mispronounce it ('Tasmin', instead of 'Tamsin'). But on the whole, it's a great name :D
