My name is Zanna. I hated it as a child. Kids made fun of me… but!!! I adore it now and can't stand boring names. People still say " is that really you name?" No… I'm lying… It's unique, and so am I.
- Personal experiences with the name Zanna
I was named for my Dad, Zane. I too was teased as a child, called "Zanna-Banana." At age 6, I announced to my parents I was going to change it when I grew up! My Mom told me my name was not strange, but different & unique, like me. Still have the name! Even with all the different names now, I am still asked what is my "REAL" name. When I was about 12, I made up a fake name, Paula, which I use when I want someone NOT to remember me!
