Any thoughts on Caspian?

Ok, I've probably been posting a little too much recently, sorry :) But I'm kind of an excitable person and this has been my most recent obsession. What do you think of the name Caspian? I know the connection to the sea as well as the Narnia character, but I'm fine with both of those references. Any thoughts on the name, possible problems etc. I've been trying to find a boys name that really stands out to me, that my DH also likes. He's given the ok on this one, so I'm curious to get an outside view. Any suggestions of middle names that might go well with it. I tend to prefer one syllable mn, so like Blake, Pax, etc.

I like Caspian! I did think of Narnia and the sea right away, but those aren't bad references. I really like the nickname Cas. I like Caspian Blake better than Caspian Pax; I'm just not a big fan of the name Pax. How about Caspian John, Caspian George, Caspian Pierce?

Or maybe Caspian Drake. I kind of like that one, it gives me the image of a sea dragon which is kind of cool.

I really like Caspian. I am keen on Casper and it's on my boys list but Caspian is certainly on my longer boys list as I'm fond of it too.

I personally have no issue with either the sea or narnia connection (both of which are obvious to me).

I don't like Pax as a name (middle or otherwise) but Caspian Blake and Caspian Drake work for me.  What is your surname similar to so I can think of other suggestions.

Caspian James would also work, Caspian Drake is too much "ocean/sea" for me since Sir Francis Drake was one of the captains for Queen Elizabeth in exploring the new world.

Others that could work:
Caspian Rhett
Caspian Bryce
Caspian Dean
Caspian Graeme/Graham
Caspian Hugh
Caspian Jace/Jase/Jayce
Caspian Joel
Caspian Jude
Caspian Jules
Caspian Lane
Caspian Lee
Caspian Max
Caspian Miles
Caspian Nate
Caspian Paul
Caspian Rhys/Reese/Reece
Caspian Rourke
Caspian Tate
Caspian Thane
Caspian Tyce
Caspian Vaughn
Caspian Zane

The only thing I thought of immediately after Narnia & the sea, was that Caspian ends in "n," which is a popular letter for boys' names right now.

But I still really like Caspian.
