Atticus or Clark?

We are expecting our second little one, another boy, and can’t come to a concensus on a first name. His middle name will be Wilcox, for my grandpa, just as his older brother’s middle name is McCoy for my husband’s grandpa. We wanted a first name that’s not top 10, but still not totally out there and goes with his brother’s first name: Cooper. We have a 3-syllable last name.

We love both Atticus and Clark — so I’m just curious to see what the community has to say. Thanks for your thoughts!

Cooper (Coop) McCoy

Atticus (Ace/Atty) Wilcox or Clark Wilcox?

Atticus Wilcox, for sure. That's a fantastic name.

I would have said Clark, but not keen on 2 C names. I think Atticus is a bit out there. So from those 2 names Clark

I prefer Cooper and Atticus as siblings and Atticus Wilcox sounds better to my ear and is easier for me to say than the four “k” sounds in Clark Wilcox.

I really like both names! With Cooper I prefer Atticus and I also think Atticus Wilcox flows slightly better than Clark Wilcox. Good Luck!
