Can you tell us a little bit more about what you want in a name? For example, are there people or ideas or hobbies or places that you'd like to honor or reference? What do you want the name to say about your son as he grows up? Are there any initials or sounds you want to avoid, or any that you especially like? The more specific you can be the more we can help you zero in on a name that really fits.

Based just on these three, I might like Astin best, but I would probably spell it Aston as in Aston-Martin to cut down on confusion, or else use Austin (though there I'm partial to the spelling Austen, as in Jane). Unless it's a family name, in which case you should spell it like your family does.

I would eliminate anything wordy and place names.  Dallas Joy sounds like some sort of team/group/business (a kids' dance troupe, maybe?)... or like the follow-up to Debbie Does Dallas...!

Are you naming with someone else or is it solely your decision?  Knowing names each of you likes but the other has vetoed can help with suggestions.

Is Asher Joy just too much?  Asher means happy, so I think it fits nicely with Joy.  Asher Dallas works in my mind.
