Brother for Hallie

We are expecting a baby boy. I am at my wits end with trying to find a name! Our last name begins and ends with the letter N so that makes it more difficult. We have a little girl named Hallie (pronounced Hal-ee). We like country western type names but I'm pretty sure I have read them all. We really like James as a middle name but not set on it. Help!

So when you say Country Western, are you saying you like the names of country singers like Garth, Toby, etc? Or do you mean cowboy type names like Maverick, Wyatt, or Colt?

I like Wyatt James quite  a bit and think it goes nicely with Hallie. My all-time favorite 'cowboy-inspired' name is Garrett, which goes great James as a middle and has the added bonus of the double-letter like Hallie.

Congratulations and best of luck!

I love the suggestion of Wyatt, but also Everett, Emmett, Caleb, Toby, Roscoe, Drew, Bruno and Elijah. I'm not very good with country-like names for boys and I'm not even sure my suggestions fit the description. They are beautiful names, though.

Oh, and I love James as a first or middle name! It's gorgeous!

Very common for southerners to select biblical names and use a nn. Gabe for Gabriel, Jake for Jacob, Luke for Lucus, Abe, for Abraham etc.

If I think of more I will share.
