Everett, Juniper and...?

I have two children, Everett (2) and Juniper (4 months)... we are planning on having just one more... even though it will be a few years from now I still can't help but dream about names :-) girls names in particular are hard to come up with...the middle name is set in stone as Marguerite (family name)... so does anyone have any inspired thoughts for a little sister to Juniper and Everett???

For some reason the name Cordelia jumped immediately to mind. Others thoughts, partly based on Nymbler: Caroline or Coraline, Aurelia, Zinnia, Magnolia, Vivian, Genevieve, Laura/Laurel/Lauren, Lillian, Virginia, Ginevra, Sylvia. Some of these may be a bit too theme-y with Juniper (Zinnia, Magnolia), but others are more subtle (Laura, Sylvia), and would be a good match with big brother, too.

Have you given any thought to boy's names yet? Is there a set-in-stone middle?

I really like Zinnia and Magnolia (especially Magnolia)...we call Juniper Junie a lot, and another unusual name with a common nickname (Maggie) is really appealing...are themes always a bad thing? You mentioned it and it does give me pause, especially because Everett's name wouldn't fit in the theme...

For a boy we are thinking Clark or Clayton, and another family middle, probably James, Eldon or Cramer depending on the first name.

The theme thing is a matter of personal preference. Some people enjoy them, others think it's kinda corny. I vacillate between those extremes, but I think if I actually met sisters named Juniper and Magnolia, my reaction would probably be quite positive. (On twins I might groan a bit inwardly, although at least the initials don't match.) As you said, the common nickname for a less-common name is an appealing link.

Laurel and Virginia seem to match the other children's names.  If you aren't as concerned with sticking with the theme, I like Vivian.

Its funny you mentioned Virginia, that's Juniper's middle name :)

Since Marguerite is already a botanical name, I'd suggest going with Vivian. It sounds great with Marguerite.

That's two votes for Vivian, but we call Everett "Ev" a lot, and Ev & Viv would be confusing as all get out!

I also thought of Cordelia right away, so consider that seconded.  I also like the suggestion of Ginevra.

Marguerite is also lovely, have you considered moving it to the 1st name position?

Other ideas-Verity, Cora, Constance, Gemma, Arabella, Beatrix, Augusta, Isadora.

I really wish we could put Marguerite in the first spot, but then we'd have two kids named after one set of great grandparents (Everett was named after his great grandpa, Marguerite was his wife's and my middle name)...It feels too lopsided as far as namesakes go and I don't want to offend anybody! and I really like Cordelia and Verity! They both go with Everett and Juniper...its tough to find a name that matches both...

To go with Juniper and Everett I like..

Willa, Nina, Laurel, Olive, Lillian

Leo, Jasper, Rowan, Owen, Oliver, Carter, Sawyer

That's another suggestion of Laurel, maybe I ought to think harder about that one :) And I like Olive too, but my best friend has an Olivia, so that's probably out... Carter and Sawyer feel to preppy to me, but Jasper has potential! I think it's actually a family name too..must go look that up :)

I adore Juinper and Marguerite and both are on my girls list (Juniper made my short list) and I do also like Everett for a boy, so we share similar taste.

I also thought of many of the names already mentioned in this thread so the ones I'm repeating consider them seconded.

Verity, Cordelia, Clementine, Acacia, Allegra, Juliet, Matilda, Genevieve, Xanthe, Zinnia, Magnolia, Delphine, Sage, Carys, Astrid, Elodie, Sabine, Briar, Lorelai

Jasper, Rafferty, August, Griffin, Campbell, Hamish, Bayard, Casper/Caspian, Riordan, Ambrose, Silas, Leopold, Cormac, Theodore, Vaughn

I really like the suggestion of Sylvia, and I like Sylvie even more. Sylvia Marguerite or Sylvie Marguerite sound beautiful! I like too the nature connection between Sylvia/e and Juniper and the shared "v" between Sylvia/e and Everett.
