First Names that go with Georgia

I am at a loss for first names for girls to go with the middle name Georgia. Long story short, the middle name is set as Georgia...but I cannot come up with something we both like and that flows with Georgia. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I am not coming up with anything that we like!! The name would be __________ Georgia Collier.

What names do you like?

I don't know why but I like the sound of Alice

Alice Collier (what you'll be using most often)

Alice Georgia Collier

*Just my 2 cents

What names do you like (that may not go with Georgia, but will help us point you to similarly styled names) ? Also, why not have Georgia as the first name?

Georgia is one of my very favorite names.

I think lots of things will go with it.

If you give us some examples of names you like (or dislike even), we'll be able to help you lots more.

We had three names picked out before the middle name decision: Jordan Avery, Jordan Claire, Jordan Elise

Some names we have been throwing around, but are not "sold" on are: Addison Georgia, Avery Georgia, Madeline Georgia, Jessalyn Georgia

Ah, I agree Jordan Georgia isn't great, although I don't think it's a total deal breaker, if Jordan is what you love.

I think all your current choices work. Madeline is my personal favorite.

Other thoughts Emerson, Peyton, Sidney, Jocelyn, Eden, Audrey, Haley, Natalie

I love Emerson and Audrey, but two friends of mine just used those for their baby girls (they are 1 and 2 weeks old). We both like Madeline (just are not sure we like it with Georgia) and we have thrown Peyton around.

I'll add Ainsley, Delaney, Adelyn, Sadie, Quinn,Hadley, Chloe and Presley

I think Madeline is Great with Georgia!

Since you like last name/gender neutral names, it might be fun to look at your family tree to see if there is a family name you could use!

I also think Madeline Georgia sounds fine. If you want to (I'm saying this because this is the name you seem to be set on anyway, so why not use Georgia as the first name instead?), you can switch it around to Georgia Madeline. And if you don't like that, among the names you paired with Jordan, Claire and Elise work well as middle names for Georgia.

I like the three syllable names with it  but agree with person who said don't worry too much about flow as rarely say names together. The four you have listead there to go with georgiq are good. Just pick the one u like best,  Jessa is a cute nickname and you rarely f ever hear it.

Sloane, Aubrey, Parker, Caroline, Hannah, Piper, Madison, Elaine, Skylar

I think Madeline Georgia sounds really nice.  I would pronounce it like Lynn, though, not like line; I think it sounds nicer with Georgia as a middle name.

Abigail, Marietta, Marilyn, Paris, Samantha, Savannah, Scarlett.

Marietta Georgia and Savannah Georgia? A bit geographical, maybe? ;)

Mallory Georgia Collier

Evelyn Georgia Collier

Aubrey Georgia Collier

Alexis Georgia Collier

Phoebe Georgia Collier

Emery Georgia Collier

Camille Georgia Collier

Brooke Georgia Collier (I think the 1st and last name combo works really well here)

(I have to second Alice as well)

and don't worry too much about the flow of the first and middle name (you could do Jordan Georgia if you really want to), pick a first name you love before you try to make it flow with the middle name. You won't be calling her Georgia for the rest of her life..

I loved the suggestion of Alice for you. Other names: Eliza, Caro, Vivian, Louisa, Eloise, Margot, Evelyn, Violeta, Esther, Stella, Beatrice, Rosalie, Rose, Lillian, Avis and Maeve.

Unless you plan on calling her by her middle name, the first name is most important. The middle name is rarely even known. Forget about flow and get a list of names you like pretty equally, at that point you can reconsider flow and then it doesn't hurt to consider flow. Don't let the middle name, which will rarely be known or used, dictate your first name choice.

I think other than Jordan your name choices sound nice with Georgia. In fact I quite like Madeline with Georgia, either way of saying it. But even Jordan is fine. There are a few things you can do do change the flow to something you like better. You could use a different form of Georgia, Georgette, Georgiana, Georgina. You could add in another middle to create better flow. Jordan Elaine Georgia.

Trust me, years from now or even in less time you will wonder why you worried do much about name flow with the middle but you are potentially going to regret not picking the first name you like.

I'm assuming that Georgia is an honor name; since your favorite first name shares so many sounds, do you have any interest in doing a "compound" honor name? Something like Jordan Gia would give you the full Georgia (Jorja) sound, thereby preserving the honor and letting you use your first choice first name.

My niece is Elise Georgia. Looks like Elise may have been one of your first middle name choices.

My train of thought was similar to that of Nedibes - Georgia and Jordan sound so much alike, why not make use of that? I thought you could name her Georgia, and call her Jordan as a nickname. Using a second name that begins with 'Dan-' would make it even easier, ie. Georgia Danielle, nn Jordan.

You can find more names starting with 'Dan' here:
